Missing Marine Was Last Seen Leaving Clementon Bar: State Police
Lance James was escorted from a local bar following an altercation with another patron on Dec. 2.
A Marine veteran who has been missing for about two weeks was last seen walking home following an altercation at a local bar, New Jersey State Police said on Wednesday.
Lance James, 29, of Clementon, was last seen on Dec. 2. He was escorted from the Hide-A-Way Tavern in Clementon following an altercation with another patron at the bar.
He was last seen walking home, leaving his jacket and cell phone behind at the bar.

Lance did not return home that night, and he did not show up for work the next day, call out sick, or pick up his pay check. No one has heard from him since Dec. 2.
On Tuesday, the New Jersey State Police Missing Persons Unit, K-9 Unit, and Marine Services Bureau conducted a large-scale search of the area along with Clementon Police and the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office.

James is described as a white man standing 5′ 8″ and weighing about 180 pounds. He has brown hair and a reddish brown beard.

He served a year each in Iraq and Afghanistan before leaving the Marines in 2012, according to State Police.
