Monday Night Concert In Gloucester Township Postponed For Weather

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — Monday night’s concert at Veterans Memorial Park in Gloucester Township was postponed due to inclement weather, township officials announced Monday morning.

The concert, featuring Paradise Island Entertainment, has been rescheduled for Monday night, Aug. 21, 7 p.m.

The forecast called for thunderstorms late Monday afternoon, Monday night and into Tuesday. It ultimately raining at about 9 p.m. Below is the forecast for the rest of the week, courtesy the National Weather Service out of Mount Holly:

Wednesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 83. East wind around 7 mph.

Wednesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 68.

Thursday: A chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 86. Chance of precipitation is 40%.

Thursday Night: A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 72. Chance of precipitation is 50%.

Friday: A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 87. Chance of precipitation is 50%.

Friday Night: A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 69. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 86.
