Motorcyclist Ejected During 3-Vehicle Crash In Camden Co.: Police
2 were taken to the hospital, including 1 person who was admitted, during the accident that shut down the White Horse Pike, officials said.
STRATFORD, NJ — A man was ejected from his motorcycle during a three-vehicle crash that injured him and another person Monday morning on the White Horse Pike, police said.
Stratford officers responded to the accident, which remains under investigation, at 8:22 a.m. on the White Horse Pike and Laurel Road.
A 1995 Jeep Cherokee was traveling westbound in the curb lane on the White Horse Pike when the vehicle struck a motorcyclist, who was stopped in traffic at the intersection, police said. The motorcyclist was ejected from his vehicle and landed on the White Horse Pike, according to the preliminary investigation.

The Jeep then traveled another 250 feet with the motorcycle lodged underneath and hit a pole, police said. During the initial impact, the motorcycle hit a third vehicle that was also stopped in traffic, according to law enforcement.
Officials brought the Jeep driver to Virtua Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Camden, where he was admitted. The motorcyclist was treated at Jefferson Stratford Hospital and released.

EMS evaluated the third driver at the scene.
The White Horse Pike was closed for several hours after the collision.
Stratford police and the Camden County Prosecutor's Office's Crash Investigation Team continue to investigate the accident.
