Motorcyclist Ejected, Fatally Struck By SUV In Camden County: Police

The man was hit by an oncoming vehicle after his motorcycle overturned on the highway, authorities said.

GLOUCESTER CITY, NJ — A man sustained deadly injuries from getting ejected from his motorcycle and then hit by a vehicle last weekend in Gloucester City, authorities said.

Troopers responded to the crash at 9:40 p.m. Saturday on Interstate 76.

Ryan Gaskill, 25, of Pennsauken, was traveling southbound on a Suzuki motorcycle when an unidentified SUV changed lanes in front of him, according to State Police. Gaskill hit the brakes, which overturned his vehicle and ejected him, said State Police Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron.

A southbound Chevrolet SUV hit Gaskill, Lebron told Patch.

The Chevy driver stayed at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation, with no additional information available, Lebron said.

Seven other people were killed in separate crashes last weekend on New Jersey roadways.
