New Shoe Store at Gloucester Premium Outlets Helping Needy Families Go Back to School

Rack Room opened its newest location when the outlets opened on Thursday.

Rack Room opened its new 7,000 square-foot store on Thursday when the Gloucester Premium Outlets opened its doors for the first time. It is the national footwear retailier’s third location in New Jersey.

The store will offer customers the opportunity to give back to local children in need this Back to School season.

Through their partnership with the non-profit organization Shoes That Fit, the retailer invites shoppers to help raise funds to provide new shoes to area children to start the school year. Additionally, Rack Room Shoes will match 100 percent of all donations raised, up to $300,000. The resources will be funneled through local school liaisons who will identify students in the area needing new shoes.
