SOUTH JERSEY — State Senate candidate Christopher Del Borrello's ticket has won the Republican primaries in New Jersey's 4th Legislative District, the Associated Press projected Tuesday night.

The AP called the district's primaries less than two hours after polls closed. Amanda Esposito and Matthew Walker secured the GOP's Assembly nominations, according to the publication.

In the general election, Del Borrello's ticket is set to face a Democratic slate led by Assembly Member Paul Moriarty, who's running for State Senate. Del Borrello is a former Washington Township Council member.

Although the AP called the district's races, all results remain unofficial until certified.

The district's Democratic primaries were uncontested. Gloucester Township Council Member Dan Hutchison and Monroe Board of Education Member Cody Miller are set to represent the party's Assembly candidates in November.

No matter which party prevails in November's general election, the 4th District will have at least two new faces. State Sen. Fred H. Madden and Assembly Member Gabriela Mosquera — both Democrats — opted against running for re-election.

Election results remain unofficial until certified.
