Official Groundbreaking for Gloucester Township Premium Outlets Set for Aug. 7
The project is expected to produce between 300 and 500 temporary construction jobs and about 800 full-time and part-time retail jobs.
Ground will officially be broken on the Gloucester Township Premium Outlets project Aug. 7, retail real estate company Simon announced.
During the groundbreaking, the latest project renderings will be unveiled to the public.
The outlets are projected to open at the intersection of Robert Kelly Drive and Cooper Road in Blackwood next summer. It will feature about 80 designer and lifestyle brands, in addition to an array of dining options. It will also host community events, including musical entertainment, charity events and children’s activities.

According to Simon, the project will provide between 300 and 500 temporary construction jobs and over 800 full-time and part-time retail positions.
There are 81 Simon Premium Outlets in the United States, Puerto Rico, Canada, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico and South Korea, including Woodbury Common (New York City), Orlando, Desert Hills (Palm Springs), Las Vegas and Wrentham Village Premium Outlets (Boston).
