“The coronavirus pandemic has introduced new challenges and exacerbated existing inequities that cause food insecurity for families countywide. These distributions are one of several initiatives the Freeholder Board has undertaken to ensure that no one goes hungry because of this crisis,” Camden County Freeholder Jonathan Young said. “We are continuing to work with our partners in the community to identify and serve residents in need. If you are facing food insecurity because of this pandemic, please join us or contact us so that we can get you the resources you need.”
Food will be distributed as supplies last on a first come, first served basis. Additionally, the Camden County Health Department will be onsite continuing its coronavirus public education campaign handing out masks, hand sanitizer and material related to the pandemic.
