Online Help For Camden County Residents Fighting Substance Abuse
Online help is available for Camden County residents fighting substance abuse.
The quarantine the country faces as a result of the new coronavirus pandemic is taking a mental toll on people, who may be turning to drugs as a means of escape.
Camden County residents struggling with substance abuse issues can seek help online while quarantined due to the outbreak of new coronavirus, officials said Monday morning.
“This pandemic has been extremely stressful for people and it can be especially difficult for those actively in recovery or those looking to get help for substance abuse,” Acting Camden County Prosecutor Jill S. Mayer said. “There is nothing wrong with asking for help, and we want people to know that recovery organizations are still operating during the quarantine.”
