Overnight Lane Closures On Route 42 This Week, Cops Say
Lanes on the northbound and southbound lanes of the highway near the Black Horse Pike will be impacted, authorities say.

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP — The northbound and southbound lanes of Route 42 near the Black Horse Pike exits will be closed from 8 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. Monday through Friday of this week, according to the Gloucester Township Police Department.
The closures are part of a $21.3 million project that when complete, will have removed and replace the existing Route 42 bridges over Gloucester Township Health and Fitness Trail — also known as the former railroad line — as well as built new retaining walls, extended and widened the lanes in the area and added lighting, authorities said.
The entire project is expected to be complete by July 2024, according to authorities.
