Pair Of Events To Slow Traffic In Gloucester Township

Gloucester Township police are advising residents to use caution when driving this weekend due to a pair of upcoming events.

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — Gloucester Township police are advising residents to use caution when driving this weekend due to a pair of upcoming events.

Drivers should use caution in the area of Chews Landing Road at Veterans Park along with roadways to the rear of Veterans Park (Glen Oaks Development) on Saturday, Sept. 14, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. due to increased pedestrian traffic. Participants for the Inspira family Fun Fest and 5K run will be utilizing the surrounding roadways for the 5K run and pedestrian crossing.

Drivers should also use caution in the area of Woodbury-Turnersville Road and Elmwood Hills for their Family Fun Day on Sunday, Sept. 15, noon to 3 p.m. due increased pedestrian crossing.
