PARCC Math Results: How Did Gloucester Township Do?

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — On Monday, we told you how the Gloucester Township Public School District fared in the English portion of PARCC testing. Here’s a look at how students in the district fared in math, which was broken up into Algebra I, Geometry and Algebra II at the high school level.

Many districts in New Jersey performed in the "Level 4" and "Level 5" areas, which is between the scores of 750 and 850, the latter being a perfect score. Gloucester Township results are below:

5th Grade Math: Gloucester Twp, Camden 742
6th Grade Math: Gloucester Twp, Camden 738
7th Grade Math: Gloucester Twp, Camden 740

Algebra I: Black Horse Pike Regional, Camden 732
Geometry: Black Horse Pike Regional, Camden 732

The PARCC tests have been a source of controversy for years, and Gov. Phil Murphy has talked for nearly year about finding replacements for the Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers test.
