Paving Project Set For Gloucester Township This Week

Work will take place overnight, and detour signs will be posted.

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — South Jersey Gas will pave the intersection of Blackwood-Clementon Road and Laurel Road/College Drive in Gloucester Township overnight on Tuesday, Sept. 11, Camden County officials announced.

Paving is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, Sept. 11, and crews will be active from 9 p.m. on Tuesday until 5 a.m. on Wednesday. The intersection will be closed while crews are active. Detour signs will be posted. Scheduling and project timing is weather dependent.

“This is an overnight project but motorists need to be aware of the anticipated closures and prepare to utilize the posted detour route when traveling in the area,” Freeholder Susan Shin Angulo, liaison to the Camden County Department of Public Works, said. “Even with overnight projects motorists need to be extra vigilant of shifting traffic patterns and sudden stops when driving through the construction area.”
