Pedestrian Seriously Hurt In Gloucester Township Crash: Police
A woman is in serious but stable condition after she was hit by a car while walking in Gloucester Township Saturday night.
GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — A woman is in serious but stable condition after she was hit by a car while walking near Cherrywood Apartments on Little Gloucester Road Saturday night, police said.
The driver remained on the scene following the crash, which happened at about 9 p.m. Saturday, according to Gloucester Township police.
Officers found the woman in the middle of a back driveway with serious lower body injuries, according to police. They soon realized she suffered compound fractures to both legs, between the knee and ankle.

The officers applied tourniquets to both legs, and attempted to stabilize the victim. She was taken to Cooper Trauma Center by paramedics, police said.
