'Rugrats' Pants-Wearing Porch Pirate Steals Packages From Gloucester Twp. Homes: PD
Surveillance cameras captured their own 'Rugrats' holiday special, which police shared in efforts to identify the suspect.
GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — A suspect starred in their own "Rugrats" holiday special, with the characters making guest appearances during package thefts off Gloucester Township porches, according to police.
The pictured person stole packages from three residential front porches in the Mayfair Woods development — twice on Friday and once on Saturday — authorities said. Police shared surveillance footage of the incidents in an effort to identify them:
The suspect wore "Rugrats" pants and drove a white Dodge Journey, police said. During one incident, they knocked on the victim's door and took the package. When the resident confronted the suspect, they claimed they worked for UPS and delivered it to the wrong home, according to law enforcement.
