Person Wanted In Camden Co. Home Invasion Kills Himself, Officials Say

The home invasion took place in Winslow Township, according to authorities.

WINSLOW TOWNSHIP, NJ — A person wanted in connection with a home invasion in Winslow Township took their own life before being arrested, authorities said.

Police went to Bennedette Drive in Winslow Township at about 2:45 p.m. on Tuesday to investigate a home invasion, according to authorities. Once there, they rescued a person who had suffered minor injuries, according to authorities.

Police then focused on finding the person connected to the crime, authorities said. That person was found in Pennsylvania dead of a self-inflicted gunshot wound, authorities said.

The investigation into the incident was continuing as of Thursday morning, according to authorities.
