Police To Collect Toys For Stuff A Truck During Shop With A Gloucester Township Cop Event

All proceeds from Stuff a Truck will be donated to the township's Toys For Tots program.

Gloucester Township, NJ -- Gloucester Township Police will be collecting new, unwrapped toys for its Stuff the Truck Toy Drive during Saturday morning’s Shop With A Cop event, police said Friday morning.

All proceeds from the Stuff a Truck event will be donated to the township’s Toys for Tots program.

Boxes will be set up by the Starbucks near the Gloucester Township Target, where the Shop With A Cop event will take place between 8 a.m. and 10 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 10.

The Gloucester Township Target is located at 487 Cross Keys Road in the Sicklerville section of the township.

A boy and girl from each elementary school and private school were selected, with the help of the Gloucester Township School District, to participate in this program.

Each child will received a $100 gift card to buy gifts for their families, with the help of a Gloucester Township Police officer.

Target staff members will wrap the gifts, and the children will also get a special visit from Santa Claus.

Target, Chick Fil A, and Gloucester Township FOP Lodge 206 will provide food for the children.

A total of 24 families will be helped through this initiative.
