Police Investigate Fatal Shooting In South Jersey
A man was fatally shot in Camden Friday afternoon.

A Camden man was fatally shot in the city Friday afternoon, Camden County Prosecutor Mary Eva Colalillo and Camden County Police Chief Scott Thomson said.
Camden County police discovered 24-year-old Laron Hornsby laying on the sidewalk on the 1200 block of Everett Street, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound, while responding to a shotspotter activation and 9-1-1 calls of a man who had been shot in the area of the Norris and Everett Street in Camden at approximately 1:49 p.m. on April 13.
He was transported to Cooper University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at about 4:48 p.m. The investigation is ongoing, and no arrests have been made as of Monday afternoon.
