Police Seek Footage Of Gloucester Township Day Fights

12 people were arrested that night. Authorities have now asked the public for additional pics, videos and suspect info.

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — Police are seeking additional information after a series of fights resulted in 12 arrests during Gloucester Township Day.

Local law enforcement asked the public Tuesday for additional photos, videos and suspect information regarding Saturday's incidents. Several large groups got into fights at Veterans Park that night, with the mayhem spilling into a nearby shopping center, police said.

Gloucester Township Day, an annual family-friendly gathering in the park, is the township's biggest event of the year.

The incidents occurred from about 9-11 p.m. at Veterans Park and the Market Place Shopping Center — the plaza anchored by ShopRite of Chews Landing — police said.

"Please forward photos, videos by file or iCloud/ Google Photos link, social media links of videos you're aware of (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.), and names/ social media links of suspects you know who were engaged in fighting or criminal mischief at the ShopRite or surrounding stores," the GTPD said.

Two adults and 10 teens were charged during the incident.
