Police Seek Suspect in Armed Robbery of Gloucester Township 7-11

Gloucester Township Police are searching for a suspect who robbed the 7-11 on Church Street in the Blackwood section of the township at knife point early Wednesday morning.

The suspect is described as a thin black man, about 20 years old, wearing a plaid “Jeff Cap,” a long black coat with an exposed zipper, dark pants, black and white sneakers, and a blue latex glove on his right hand.

He entered the store and asked for cigarettes around 4 a.m. He then pulled a large knife out of his left pocket and demanded money.

As he was leaving, a long blue bag with a black carry strap fell from underneath his coat to the floor. He retrieved the bag and fled the area.
