Primitive Axe Gets Official Gloucester Township Welcome June 27

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — The Primitive Axe will receive its official welcome to Gloucester Township next week.

The Grand Opening event for Primitive Axe, which opened at The Gloucester Premium Outlets earlier this month, will take place on Thursday, June 27, 5 p.m.

Mayor David Mayer will officially open the locally-owned company’s second location with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The 3,400 square-foot axe throwing destination for teens and adults is open across from the new Gloucester Township police headquarters at 100 Premium Outlets Drive in the Blackwood section of the township.

It offers space rentals for birthday parties, corporate events, holiday parties and bachelor/bachelorette parties. Competitors can join a league and anyone looking to engage in action-packed entertainment can toss axes on a walk-in basis.

Primitive Axe opened its first location on Delsea Drive in Glassboro in November 2018. Throwers must be at least 13 years old to participate in axe throwing. It is BYOB. The Outlets are located at 100 Outlets Drive in the Blackwood section of Gloucester Township.
