Rodent Feces Hit Walmart Shelves In NJ, Report Says

Halloween candy bags were opened and stacked on lines of waste.

SOMERDALE, NJ — The Halloween candy aisle at Walmart appeared to be littered with either rat or mouse feces in a video posted to social media on Tuesday.

"It was mice poop, not a little bit...a lot," user "queen_sugar_" said.

In a second video, candy bags can be seen ripped and scattered across a feces-laden platform.

The shopper went on to detail a line of events that included waiting for a supervisor for at least 25 minutes, only to return to the aisle and find that the bags that were bit and covered in the feces had been put back on the shelf.

The store, located at 1 Coopertown Blvd., told NBC News that they are aware of the video and that they are reviewing the situation.
