Region's Largest Star Gazing Party In Gloucester Township On Friday The 13th

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — Instead of spending Friday the 13th running in horror, Gloucester Township residents can spend it gazing at the stars. Timber Creek Park will play host to the largest stargazing party in the region in just a few weeks.

The Star Party commences at 6 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 13, with local astronomers providing a tour of the cosmos until 8 p.m. Even those without astronomy gear can participate, as there will be telescopes and binoculars on site.

The event is sponsored by Wow Science Camp. Timber Creek Park is located at the intersection of Chews Landing Road and Taylor Avenue in the Blackwood section of Gloucester Township.
