GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — A new community garden has opened in Downtown Blackwood, with the help of former NFL quarterback Ron Jaworski's foundation.

Jaws Youth Playbook collaborated with The Unforgotten Haven, a local charity, to help build gardens for locals in need. Jaworski's foundation donated $20,000 toward the endeavor.

"The Unforgotten Haven works hard to help the community by fighting against homelessness, food insecurity, and much more," Jaworski said on social media. "This garden will provide essential fresh fruits and vegetables for their community on a weekly basis!"
