Running Car Stolen From Gloucester Township Wawa: Police

Police are asking for the public's help to identify a man who stole a running car from a Wawa on the Black Horse Pike in Blenheim.

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — Gloucester Township police are asking for the public’s help to identify a man who stole a running car from a Wawa on the Black Horse Pike in the Blenheim section of the township.

The person arrived at the store in a Chrysler Town & Country Mini van at about 7:20 p.m. on Jan. 16. They saw an unoccupied red Ford Escape, whose owner had gone into the store while the gas tank was being filled, police said.

The person who had arrived in the mini van paid for the gas and took the Escape, police said. He later returned to the Wawa on foot, and left in the mini van, according to police.

Surveillance images of the man and the car can be found below. The license plate number of the stolen car is L64-MLZ.
