A Camden man was found fatally shot in the city over the weekend, Camden County Prosecutor Mary Eva Colalillo and Camden County Police Chief Scott Thomson said Monday morning.Camden County Police discovered 25-year-old Kashif Carmickel lying in the street in the area of Sycamore and Orchard streets in Camden around 12:34 Sunday morning. They had reported to the area for a report of a man who had been shot.Carmickel was taken by ambulance to Cooper University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 1:06 a.m.The investigation into the shooting in ongoing.Anyone with information is urged to contact Camden County Prosecutor's Office Detective John Hunsinger at 856-365-3239 or Camden County Police Detective Gordon Harvey at 856-757-7420.Information may also be emailed to ccpotips@ccprosecutor.org.
