PATCO customers will be required to wear a face covering over their nose and mouth while in stations, on platforms and trains as of Friday.

PATCO customers will be required to wear a face covering over their nose and mouth while in stations, on platforms and trains beginning 7 a.m. Friday, the mass transit company announced. Previously, customers were expected to wear facial covering only while traveling.

The requirement was made due to the latest executive orders from the governors of Pennsylvania and New Jersey amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Children under the age of two years and anyone who cannot wear a face covering due to a medical condition or disability will not be required to wear a mask.
