School Budget, Green Festival: Gloucester Township Monday Manual

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — Welcome to the April 25th edition of the Gloucester Township Monday Manual, where we highlight some of what’s going on this week in the township.

On Monday at 7 p.m., at the Lewis Middle School, the Gloucester Township School Board discusses the school’s budget for the 2022-2023 school year. The district is slated to receive $57,687,345 under Governor Murphy’s proposed budget, a 5.04 percent increase over its state aid from the previous year.

On Wednesday at 6:30 p.m., the Timber Creek High School Basket Raffle culminates with a buffet dinner, open bar, dancing and door prizes being held at Villari's Lakeside Restaurant. Contact the school for more information.

On Friday, the Camden County College’s Blackwood Campus is holding a countywide teen arts festival. A wide array of talent is scheduled to be on display, including creative writing, video and dance. Click here for more information.

On Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., the Camden County Technical School is hosting a 125 Family Yard Sale at 343 Berlin Cross Keys Road in Sicklerville. The rain date for this event is Sunday.

Also on Saturday at 7 p.m., and then again on Sunday at 2 p.m., Mainstage Center for the Arts presents the Wizard of Oz live at the Dennis Flyer Memorial Theater at Camden County College’s Blackwood Campus.

And on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., the Blackwood Branch of the Camden County Library System will host an Arts Market and Green Fair. Check out some art and learn how to be more earth-friendly at the same time.
