Sicklerville Boy Scout Leader Faces Child Porn Charges: Cops
James Roberts has been involved with the Boy Scouts for over 40 years, according to the prosecutor's office. He was arrested Friday morning.

A Boy Scout Troop leader from Sicklerville has been charged with distribution of child pornography and possession of child pornography, according to Camden County Prosecutor Mary Eva Colalillo and Winslow Township Police Chief George Smith.
James Roberts, 74, was arrested following the execution of a search warrant at his home Friday morning, police said. During the search, detectives said they seized numerous digital devices that were taken to the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office’s HTCU Forensic Lab to be analyzed. After that, Roberts was charged.
Roberts has been involved in the Boy Scouts for 40 years. He was a Master Scout Leader for Boy Scout Troop 132 in Sicklerville at the time of his arrest, according to the prosecutor’s office.

Following his arrest, he was taken to the Winslow Township Police Department, where he was processed and remanded to the Camden County Correctional Facility. Under Criminal Justice Reform rules, the court may order that he be detained without bail or released with conditions.
Members of Homeland Security Investigations – Cherry Hill Office, the Camden County Sheriff’s Emergency Response Team (SERT), the Winslow Township Police Department and the New Jersey State Police K9 forensic dog assisted the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office HTCU Detectives on this case.
