Sicklerville Man Convicted of Shooting Ex-Girlfriend
Timothy A. Horne, 37, has been found guilty of three counts of aggravated assault and three weapons offenses.

A Sicklerville man has been found guilty in the 2013 shooting of a Camden woman he was dating at the time, Camden County Prosecutor Mary Eva Colalillo and Camden County Police Chief Scott Thomson said on Friday.
Timothy A. Horne, 37, has been found guilty of three counts of aggravated assault and three weapons offenses.
A 33-year-old Camden woman was found inside her home on the 1100 block of Kaighn Avenue around 10 a.m. on Aug. 28, 2013. She had been shot in the abdomen. She was taken to Cooper University Hospital and dropped off by a driver who fled before police arrived.

She ultimately survived after initially being listed in critical condition.
About an hour and a half later, Horne was captured while driving the victim’s car.

He told detectives he accidentally shot the victim during a domestic dispute, and that he was the one who dropped her off at the hospital.
A jury decided the shooting was not accidental, based on ballistics evidence presented and testimony given during the trial, authorities said.
Horne faces up to 40 years in state prison.
Sentencing is scheduled for July 7.
