TURNERSVILLE, NJ — A man who stole a child's unattended bike outside of Walmart in Turnersville has been caught, authorities said Thursday. Police identified the suspect as David Hill, of Sicklerville.
The victim left their $700 bicycle unsecured outside Walmart on Sunday while they went inside the store, according to the Washington Township Police Department. The suspect was walking in the parking lot at 5:04 p.m. when he stole it and fled the area, authorities said.
Police posted a photo of Hill — then unidentified — and the bicycle Wednesday on social media, hoping for info in identifying the suspect. On Thursday afternoon, the agency said Hall had been arrested.
