Sidewalk Replacement On Somerdale Road Set For Monday
Part of Somerdale Road will be closed between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. for sidewalk replacement on Monday.
Conrail crews will replace a sidewalk on Somerdale Road in Somerdale on Monday, July 8, Camden County officials announced. Somerdale Road will be completely closed between East Atlantic Avenue and Warwick Road from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Drivers should use Atlantic Avenue and Warwick Road as detours to circumvent the construction area. The project should be finished by the end of the day on Monday, weather and other factors permitting.
“Road closures can affect traffic patterns and travel times throughout the surrounding area, so it’s important for motorists to be aware of how this may affect their commute,” Freeholder Susan Shin Angulo, liaison to the Camden County Department of Public Works, said. “Motorists should be alert for shifting traffic patterns, congestion, and sudden stops when in the construction area. Make sure to leave extra time when commuting and remain extra vigilant of additional hazards when driving near crews and equipment.”
