South Jersey Maker’s Marketplace Reaches 150 Local Vendors Following Quiet Launch

South Jersey Maker’s Marketplace, a local online platform connecting shoppers with South Jersey makers, artisans, crafters, and boutique sellers, has grown to more than 150 vendors following its quiet launch in late 2025.

The marketplace was created to help support independent makers and small businesses across the region by offering a local-first alternative to larger online marketplaces.

Unlike many major e-commerce platforms, South Jersey Maker’s Marketplace does not charge vendors listing fees. Vendors manage their own inventory and shipping while using the platform to reach nearby customers interested in shopping local.

Product categories currently include handmade jewelry, home décor, bath and body products, books, gifts, woodcrafts, candles, specialty items, and more.

“We wanted to create a space where South Jersey makers could grow their businesses locally without the high fees and competition of larger marketplaces,” said founder James Moretti. “Seeing over 150 vendors join in such a short time shows there’s a real demand for a local platform like this.”

The marketplace is now focused on growing shopper awareness throughout South Jersey while continuing to expand its vendor community.
