South Jersey Man Dies 3 Weeks After Being Shot: Police
A South Jersey man has died about three weeks after he was shot in Camden, police said.
A 49-year-old man who was shot in March has died as a result of his injuries, authorities announced.
Anthony Lewis, of Camden, was shot inside his home on the 2500 block of Carman Street on March 24, according to Camden County Prosecutor Mary Eva Colalillo and Camden County Police Chief Scott Thomson.
Police were called to his home at about 11:36 p.m. that night, and found him suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to Cooper University Hospital where he was receiving treatment until he died at about 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 13, authorities said.

No arrests have been made as of Monday morning. The investigation is ongoing, and authorities didn’t release any additional information on Monday.
