Homicide Probe Underway After Man Fatally Shot At His South Jersey Home: Police
The homicide investigation continues with no arrests announced as of Tuesday morning.
BRIDGETON, NJ — Officials opened a homicide investigation after finding a man suffered fatal gunshot wounds at his home Sunday night, according to the Bridgeton Police Department.
Bridgeton officers responded to Mount Vernon Street just before 9:30 p.m. for a reported gunshot victim. Upon arrival, they found Brian Pineda, 25, had been shot, police said.
Officers attempted lifesaving efforts until EMTs arrived, but Pineda was pronounced dead a short time later, authorities said.

No arrests have been announced as of Tuesday morning. The Bridgeton Police Department and the Cumberland County Prosecutor's Office continue to investigate.
