St. Teresa's Race For Education Set For Friday
The race serves as a fundraiser to allow for the school to continue to provide a quality education and affordable tuition for students.
RUNNEMEDE, NJ — St. Teresa Regional School hosts its fourth annual “Race for Education” on Friday, May 19. The race serves as a fundraiser to allow for the school to continue to provide a quality education and affordable tuition for students of the school. Students will walk for almost an hour from the school to the Runnemede police station and back led by the school’s own Wildcats cheerleaders.
In preparation for the walk-a-thon, students collected donations from sponsors who pledge money to help St. Teresa School and its students. After the walk-a-thon students are treated to a dance party and some other fun surprises in the schoolyard.
“This is our most successful fundraiser of the year,” St. Teresa Regional School Principal Sister Nancy Kindelan said. “It’s the most fun, too! Everybody is outside having a great time and enjoying a day of fun together.”
