Suspicious Man Approached 3 Kids In Gloucester Township: Police

He asked the kids if they needed a ride, and told them to, "Come get in."

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — Police are investigating an incident in which an adult man approached three children as they walked home from school in Gloucester Township.

A 10-year-old and two seven-year olds were walking home from Glendora School on Station Avenue near Ridge Avenue at about 3:05 p.m. Tuesday afternoon when they were approached by the man in a car, police said Wednesday afternoon.

The driver asked if they needed a ride. When one of the children said no, the man responded, “Come get in.” The children then ran from the area.

The driver is described as a white man in his 30s with black hair. He was wearing black pants and black sweatshirt. The car is described as an older, green, 4-door vehicle with an "H" on the back. It was reported the vehicle had a broken out drivers side tail light. He left the area on Station Avenue, heading toward 7-11.
