Tax Abatement, The Board and Administration and Questions

At the Board Meeting each Board member was asked about the Outlet Mall and Tax Abatement and each answered they knew nothing about it. So this Board wants the public to believe that this Board with it's political connections (Carr, Coyle and Collins) knew nothing. Then there is Bilodeau the New Superintendent and ex Business Administrator, a numbers guy and Mercado, the political favor this Board and Bilodeau made a position for and GT Councilman didn't return the favor and say something to them about it. Now  I read today Bill Collins, Board President is going to check into it. Really? This Board and Administration must really think the public is stupid and they can say anything and we will believe them.

The Board and Administration's worst nightmare occurred this year people became involved and started paying attention and asking questions. The Board and Administration not sure how to react, they acted with indignity to the public asking questions. People asking questions were dismissed, rudely interrupted or as we saw charged by a board member. How dare we ask questions, just sit there and shut up. Sorry to say those days are over and Accountability, Truthfulness, Respect for the people who elected them and the end of political games within the BOE. Current Board members need to stop acting like sheep for the democrats and Mayer and do what the public who voted them in. If you look at Board minutes Resolutions seem to always pass by a vote of 9-0. Impressive, 9 people who can agree on everything or are they just sheep in a flock? We need people who can think for themselves and represent us.

Mr. Collins, you and the rest of the Board had an opportunity to do the right thing and represent the public. Instead you and the Board ignored us and continued with their own agenda. Do us a favor step down, I'm sure the democrat machine will find something for you and the rest of the Board to do and let people who care try to fix this mess that has been created by your group so the children of this district get what they deserve a quality education minus politics.

As for Bilodeau, Acerba and Dr. Martin, this Board hired them and I still feel there are significantly better people to fill these positions in the district out there. Bilodeau and Acerba, part of the old boy's network within the district. We need outsiders to come in with a new perspective and fresh ideas to lead this District.
