Teenage Girl Charged in Shooting Death of South Jersey Man

The 21-year-old Pennsauken man was found suffering from a gunshot wound on Aug. 12. He died Thursday morning.

A 16-year-old girl from Berlin has been charged in connection with the fatal shooting of a Pennsauken man, Camden County Prosecutor Mary Eva Colalillo and Camden County Police Chief Scott Thomson said on Thursday evening.

The girl faces a first-degree murder charge in the fatal shooting of 21-year-old Vincent T. Bland.

Police found Bland suffering from a gunshot wound in a lot near South 5th and Benson streets in Camden around 6 a.m. on Aug. 12.

Bland was taken to Cooper University Hospital for treatment. He was pronounced dead at 4:10 a.m. Thursday morning.

The girl was charged today and is being held at the Camden County Youth Detention Center.
