GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — A wild turkey who has been "terrorizing the motoring public" in this South Jersey community has been relocated, police said.

"Perry" the turkey will head to a wildlife habitat where he won't have any tires to swipe at, Gloucester Township Police said. He had been attacking vehicles in downtown Blackwood for the past few weeks, police said.

Police thanked NJ Fish and Wildlife and the U.S. Department of Agriculture for their help catching the rogue turkey. Perry will go to a wildlife habitat "that is free of major roadways and vehicles for him to attack," said police.
