Threat Places Camden County Schools On Lockout

WINSLOW TOWNSHIP, NJ — Winslow Township's high school and middle school were on a lockout Monday as police investigated a potential threat.
Police said "suspicious information on social media" prompted a precautionary lockout at the buildings on Cooper Folly Road.
Police said the lockout was lifted as of 1:49 p.m.

Lockouts generally mean that all students and staff come inside, and exterior doors and windows are secured, while no one is allowed to enter or leave the building.
"Our staff and students were in no immediate danger and their school day was not affected," township police said in a Facebook update. "After a short investigation we determined there was no threat."
