Timber Creek Blows By Pennsauken; Triton Falls in Football Opener
Timber Creek defeated Pennsuaken, 63-6, Friday night.

Delvin Leary threw two touchdown passes, Xavier Martin threw one and Walter Lewis rushed for two more as the Timber Creek High School football team blew by Pennsauken, 63-6, in the season opener for both teams.
Lewis rushed for 102 total yards, according to stats provided by the team.
Leary accounted for 151 yards, including 116 passing yards and 35 rushing yards. Martin passed for 37 yards and rushed for 14.

Cameron Chambers, De’von Pierce and Noah Ellison reeled in touchdown receptions. Chambers led the group with 78 receiving yards, while Ellison and Pierce had 38 and 37, respectively.
Shane Pease also scored on a 1-yard touchdown run.

Triton also opened the season Friday night, but only managed a safety in a 27-2 defeat at the hands of Cherry Hill West.
