Timber Creek Grad Heads to Temple to Play Football

Greg Webb changed his verbal commitment from Rutgers to Temple this week, according to philly.com.

Timber Creek High School alum Greg Webb will continue his football career at Temple University after playing this season at Hutchinson Community College in Kansas, philly.com reports.

Webb had made an oral commitment to Rutgers University, but changed his mind earlier this week and is headed to Temple, according to the report.

Webb, who graduated from Timber Creek in 2012, initially committed to play at Penn State, but backed out of his verbal commitment this summer after the school’s football program was hit with sanctions in the wake of the Jerry Sandusky sex scandal.
