Timber Creek, Highland Set For Boys Basketball Playoffs
The teams aren't scheduled to play this season, but there's an outside chance they could play in the finals.

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — A pair of Black Horse Pike Regional High School boys basketball teams will pursue the NJSIAA South Jersey Group 3 boys basketball title this season, and it’s possible they could meet in the championship game.
Timber Creek and Highland both qualified for the sectional tournament, according to nj.com.
Timber Creek is the No. 5 seed and will host No. 12 Winslow in the first round on Tuesday, Feb. 26, 5:30 p.m.
The winner will play the winner of the game between No. 4 Pinelands and No. 13 Woodrow Wilson in the quarterfinals on Feb. 28.

Highland is the No. 7 seed and will host No. 10 Seneca in the first round on Tuesday, Feb. 26, 6 p.m. The winner will play the winner of the game between No. 2 Ocean City and No. 15 Cherry Hill West.
The semifinals will take place on March 2, with the championship game set for March 5.

Timber Creek (12-6) defeated Winslow (6-13), 64-54, on Jan. 31, according to nj.com. They are also scheduled to play on Feb. 18.
Highland is 14-5. They won six straight games from Jan. 8-24. Seneca has just eight wins against 12 losses this season.
Timber Creek and Highland have not played each other and aren’t scheduled to this season. At 16-5, Moorestown is the top seed in the tournament.
