Timber Creek, Highland Softball Teams Set For Playoffs
Both teams will compete for the South Jersey Group 3 title beginning Thursday.
GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ - The Timber Creek and Highland regional high school softball teams both made the playoffs this season, and they may end up playing each other in the second round.
Highland is the No. 10 seed in the NJSIAA South Jersey Group 3 playoffs, according to nj.com. It will visit No. 7 Ocean City in the first round on May 16. Timber Creek is the No. 15 seed, and will visit No. 2 Hammonton on the same day.
The winners of those two games will play each other in the quarterfinals on May 20. The semifinals are set for May 23, and the championship game will take place on May 28.

Highland is 9-8 heading into the playoffs, while Ocean City is 11-5, according to nj.com.
Timber Creek is 5-14 heading into the playoffs, while Hammonton is 17-4, according to nj.com.
