Timber Creek Wrestler Captures Title At Girls Tournament
Tiyanna Hooker won the 185-pound title at the South Jersey Hall of Fame tournament over the weekend, according to nj.com.

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ - A Timber Creek Regional High School wrestler took home a championship at the South Jersey Wrestling Hall of Fame tournament over the weekend.
After the way senior Tiyanna Hooker performed at the tournament, hosted by the high school, she looks like a legitimate threat to win the school’s first state title, nj.com’s Bill Evans wrote.
Hooker won the 185-pound title at the tournament, according to the report. She has no previous wrestling experience, and is the only girl on the team. She has to practice against the boys, and wrestling girls will be “10 times easier,” she told nj.com.
