Triton Boys Basketball Team To Compete In Holiday Showcase

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — The holiday season is not just a time for giving, being grateful and celebrating; it’s also a time for high school basketball. There are a number of holiday tournaments coming up during the holidays, and a Black Horse Pike Regional High School basketball team will be participating.

Triton will play a pair of games in the Butch McLean Memorial Showcase at Haddon Heights. On Wednesday, Dec. 27, Triton battles Rancocas Valley. Tip-off is set for 1:45 p.m. Two days later, Triton competes in the event’s final game against host Haddon Heights. That game is set for 5:15 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 29.

Triton is 1-2 ahead of the showcase. Its lone victory came in a 71-46 win over Schalick on Dec. 21, according to nj.com. Rancocas Valley is 2-0, and Haddon Heights is 2-1.
