Triton, Timber Creek to Compete for Boys Soccer Title

Two Black Horse Pike Regional boys soccer team will compete in this year’s NJSIAA South Jersey Group III playoffs, according to nj.com.

Both teams start on the road and will have to pull off some upsets to take home the crown.

Triton is the No. 11 seed, and will visit No. 6 Absegami in the first round on Nov. 3.

Triton is one game below .500, at 8-9. Absegami is 9-5-1. The teams have not played each other this season.

Timber Creek is the No. 12 seed, and will visit No. 5 Ocean City in the first round on Nov. 3.

Ocean City is 7-7-2. Timber Creek is 5-10. The teams have not played each other this season.

There are 16 teams in the tournament.

Quarterfinal games are scheduled for Nov. 6, with the semifinals on Nov. 10 and the championship game on Nov. 12.
