Truck Overturns On White Horse Pike In Camden Co.; Avoid The Area

WATERFORD, NJ — A truck overturned Tuesday morning around the White Horse Pike and Route 73 in Camden County, officials said.

Police advised the public to avoid the area while a "serious" crash is under investigation.

The truck was carrying sand, which it spilled when it turned on its side, according to 6abc Action News. Some fuel may have also spilled, prompting a hazmat response, the news outlet reports.

The driver was trapped in the truck and sustained injuries, but there's no word on his condition, according to Action News.

Two ramps were closed in the area but have reopened as of late Tuesday morning, according to the NJ Department of Transportation.
