Utility Work Set For Lower Landing Road In Gloucester Township
PSE&G and Verizon will be conducting the work, which will require the closure of Almonesson Road between Lower Landing and Hurfville roads.
GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — Utility work will take place on Lower Landing Road and Almonesson Road in Gloucester Township from Oct. 5-9, officials announced on Friday.
PSE&G and Verizon will be conducting the work, which will require the full closure of Almonesson Road between Lower Landing Road and Hurfville Road.
“Crews are expected to close the roadway for several days while the utility work is conducted,” Freeholder Barbara Holcomb, liaison to the Camden County Department of Public Works, said.“This is a heavily trafficked area, and motorists should expect sudden stops, shifting traffic patterns, and other changing conditions in the area surrounding construction. Always remain extra vigilant for crews, vehicles, and debris that may end up in the roadway when driving through or near construction.”
